I am a recent graduate of the MFA Professional Actor Training Program at UNC-Chapel Hill where I spent three years as a company member with PlayMakers Repertory Company.
I am now living and working and playing in NYC.
A little about me:
I was raised in Oakland and Berkeley, California and born into a family of writers, documentarians, travelers, english professors and activists. When I was ten the Royal Shakespeare Company came into town and suddenly I wanted a "bower," preferably one that involved a flying upside down pink umbrella. When I was 12 my parents put me into Shakespeare summer camp--and I have not looked back.
My curiosity and hunger for new theatrical experiences brought me to a thrilling year of training at the London Academy of Music and Dramatic Art before getting a degree in theater and history from Smith College.
Lover of Northern California beaches and cliffs, sing-along road trips, gardening, borscht, poetry, window seats, languages, libraries & archives, knitting, Russian, people watching in cafes, old book smell and Olga the cat.
